A man was arrested and a quantity of drugs -- believed to have a street value of about €25,000 -- has been seized near Collooney, Co Sligo.
It occurred after gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit observed a vehicle acting suspiciously yesterday morning.
When gardaí went to make enquiries, the driver failed to stop but was apprehended a short time later
The driver was also found to be disqualified.

He was arrested for Sale and Supply of Illegal Drugs and detained at Ballymote Garda Station
He has since been released, and a file is to be sent to DPP.
