Donegal Gardaí arrested a man on drug charges over the weekend.
Members of the Drugs Unit encountered a motorcycle travelling at high speed towards a checkpoint outside Donegal Town; Gardaí there helped stopped the vehicle.
The man riding the motorcycle was found to have €6,000 worth of cannabis and a further €1,000 of amphetamines.
A follow up search at property in Riverstown, Co. Sligo found a further €10,000 worth of amphetamines.

The man was arrested and appeared before a special sitting of Sligo District COurt on Monday charged with offences relating to the sale and supply of drugs.
