Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the two car collision on the N16 at Glenfarne in the early hours of Monday morning last.
Two Gardai were treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.

No other injuries have been reported.
The driver of the other car, a man aged in his 40s, was arrested at the scene.

He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in Co. Leitrim, and has since been released without charge.
A file will be prepared for the DPP.
Gardai are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
