Gardai have arrested a man in connection with their investigation into the alleged attempted robbery of a bookmakers in Sligo town.
It happened when a man entered the premises at about 7 o clock yesterday evening and attempted to gain access to money.
The man now arrested is currently detained and being questioned at Ballymote Garda Station (pictured).
