A man in his 30s who was arrested in connection with a shot being fired from a gun in Killargue will appear before a special sitting of Sligo District Court this evening (Sunday).
The incident occurred on Friday in the north Leitrim village when Gardai responded to an emergency call at a residential location.
The Armed Support Unit also attended the scene.
A man was arrested outside the residence, and a firearm was seized. He has since been charged.

It’s understood that a taser was always used in the incident.
