A man in his 60s has died following a crash in County Mayo.
He was hit by a car on Main Street in Ballinrobe at around half-past-six yesterday evening.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been taken to Mayo General Hospital for a post-mortem exam.
A man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the incident, and has since been released without charge.

Garda are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
