A man in his 60s has died after he and another man were struck by a car in Letterkenny, Co Donegal, in the early hours of this morning.
Both men had been taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with serious injuries following the incident.
One man was later pronounced dead.
The second man, who is also in his 60s, has since been airlifted to Galway University Hospital.

The incident, which occurred at Lower Main Street in the town at around 3am, has been referred to the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission.
The driver of the car, who is in his late teens, was arrested at the scene and remains in Garda custody.
The St Patrick's Day parade, which was due to have begun at 3pm, has been cancelled.
