The 85-year old man from near Ballymote, Co Sligo, who was injured when the quad he was driving was in collision with another vehicle more than two weeks ago has died.
Nicholas Murtagh was badly injured in the accident that occurred at Doocastle Cross, on the Ballymote to Charlestown Road, not far from his home.
He was removed to Sligo University Hospital, where he passed away on Saturday..
