The victim of Monday's crash on the N17 has been named locally.
Sean Maye, a native of Tubbercurry, was pronounced dead at the scene when the vehicle he was driving collided with a lorry at Corbally, between Knock and Claremorris.
Gardaí are appealing to any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling in the area at the time of the collision to make this footage available to them.
Mr Maye will repose in the Morahan Funeral Home Tubbercurry this evening from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Funeral will arrive in St John Evangelist Church, Tubbercurry for requiem Mass at 11.30am on Thursday, with the burial afterwards in Rhue cemetery.
