A man has been remanded in custody after a special sitting of the District Court in Carrick on Shannon .
This follows a stabbing incident in the Sligo Town area yesterday.
A man was arrested shortly after the incident by Sligo Gardaí and he was subsequently charged with Assault Causing Harm.
Investigations to the incident are ongoing
