A man has been rescued after getting into difficulty while swimming off the Donegal coast at the weekend.
The alarm was raised at around 7pm on Saturday evening when two kayakers noticed the man struggling in the water in the Marble Hill area.

A multi agency operation was launched, including Mulroy Coastguard and the ambulance service.
The man was treated at the scene and taken to Letterkenny University Hospital as a precaution.
