Man suspected missing in Slieve League probe could be from Northern Ireland

It's believed that a man, suspected missing from Slieve League, could be from Northern Ireland.

It's reported that Gardai are treating an alleged assault in the area as possible murder as an investigation into the incident continues.

Public access to Slieve League is still closed while a 'blood-spattered' car is also being forensically examined.

Earlier in the week, a house in the Killybegs area was also sealed off as part of the investigation.

The two people who were arrested in connection with the alleged assault were released without charge yesterday evening.
