A man has sustained head injuries during a suspected assault in Ballinamore.
The incident happened in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The victim was found by Gardai lying on the street with a large cut on the side of his head.
It's currently unknown how the incident happened.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses - anyone with information is being urged to contact them in Carrick - On -Shannon.
