Man taken to hospital following road traffic collision yesterday

A man was taken to Sligo University Hospital yesterday evening following a road traffic collision.

The incident involved a car and a pedestrian.

Sligo Gardaí responded shortly after 5pm on the Knappagh Road in Sligo.

A pedestrian, a man in his 50's, was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The man driving the car was not injured.
