Gardaí in Manorhamilton have confirmed that they responded to a robbery of a premises which occurred last night approximately 10pm.
It's understood a male entered the Apple Green fillling station on the N16 demanding property.
Nothing was taken from the business, and no criminal damage was caused during the incident.
Gardai subsequently arrested a man and he was brought to Carrick on Shannon Garda station.
In a separate incident Gardaí have also confirmed that a parked car was broken into at Treanakillen in Glencar on Sunday last. It's understood a Backpack and camera were stolen during the incident .
He was brought before a sitting of Donegal District Court today.
