Manorhamilton Mart successfully combining online and traditional sales

With the County having moved into phased town of the easing of Covid-19 restrictions this week, one of the services that has been allowed to return is livestock marts.

During the lockdown marts reverted to online or virtual sales and indeed the popularity of such sales with farmers has resulted now in the system being retained and rolled out simultaneously with a limited ringside presence.

Eugene Donnelly is the financial controller of Manorhamilton livestock mart, he’s been explaining about how the new 'dual sales' method will work going forward to the benefit of both buyers and sellers.
