A major new jobs announcement for Sligo is expected to be made later this morning.
Telecommunications company Eir is to create 350 new positions at its new state of the art facility in Rathedmond in Sligo Town.
Sligo/Leitrim Fine Gael TD Tony McLoughlin says it will be a massive boost for Sligo, coming on top of more than 1,100 jobs already announced since the start of this year.
