Maugherow post office submission to be examined by two independent reviewers

Two independent reviewers are to examine a North Sligo community's submission on retaining its local post office.

The submission will be made tomorrow by the people of Maugherow as a result of An Post's decision to close their local Ballinfull Post Office last month.

The reviewers are Paddy McGuinness, former chairman of the Western Development Board and Tom Hobson, formerly of Ireland West Airport.

Sligo Independent Councillor Marie Casserly says both An Post and the two independent reviewers will both have detailed information on which to make their recommendations and decision:
