McCartin struggling to understand Lunney attack

Investigations are continuing into the abduction and brutal assault of Kevin Lunney in Fermanagh.

The 50-year-old was found on the side of the road in Cavan with serious facial injuries and a broken leg.

Mr. Lunney, who is the Director and Chief Operating Officer at Quinn Industrial Holdings, isn't the first member of staff to be targeted.

The company said in a statement yesterday that loss of life is "inevitable" if authorities don't take action.
