McConalogue leads tributes to the Late Hugh Conaghan

Donegal Fianna Fáil TD, Charlie McConalogue has led the tributes today to former Donegal Councillor and TD Hugh Conaghan.

Mr Conaghan played a central role in Donegal politics for many years and was described by Fianna Fáil as ‘a tremendous servant to the people of the county throughout his life'.

He served from 1974 to 1999 on the Donegal County Council and in Dáil Éireann for 12 years between 1977 and 1989.
