Meetings to take place today on the impact of pyrite in Sligo.

Meetings between the Sligo Pyrite Action Group and Sligo County Council’s Defective Concrete Blocks Committee will take place later today.

A Spokesperson for the Sligo Pyrite Action Group and has welcomed the development as they continue with their efforts to be included in any redress schemes.

Today’s meeting will see a presentation on the extent of the problem in Sligo.
