Gurteen native Megan McCormack will represent Sligo in this year's Rose of Tralee competition.
Megan got past the Sligo stage of the competition after Friday night's show in the Clayton Hotel in Sligo.

24-year-old Megan is a primary school teacher having completed a Masters in Education with Hibernian College.
Megan is also a keen sportsperson and is currently part of the Sligo LGFA team.

The Rose of Tralee International Festival will take place in Kerry between August 16th and 20th.
