Men released without charge in Cavan extortion plot investigation

Gardaí have confirmed that all seven men arrested in relation to a potential blackmail / extortion plot in County Cavan on Sunday have been released without charge.

Files will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí have also confirmed that investigations are ongoing into the incident.
