Mica actions groups to appear before Oireachtas housing committee

MICA and Pyrite Action Groups are set to appear before the Oireachtas housing committee today.

Campaigners are expected sit for up to seven hours and give their views on the government's draft redress scheme.

Donegal, Mayo, Limerick and Clare have been approved for redress payments with Sligo expected to be added at a later stage.

At present, it's expected to cost in the region of 2.7 billion euro.

The Sinn Féin Housing spokesperson Eoin Ó Broin says today isn't about analysing their plan.
