A Donegal Mica Campaigner is expressing concern that the concrete levy could ultimately hinder homeowners in repairing homes affected by defective blocks.
It's thought that the levy which was announced will add an extra cost of at least €3,000 to build a typical home in Ireland.

Speaking to Ocean FM, Donegal Mica redress campaigner Paddy Diver says the extra cost will add further cost for those looking to repair their homes.
