A Fine Gael Donegal TD has described the previous Mica Redress Scheme and unaffordable, inaccessible and unworkable.
Deputy Joe McHugh was speaking in the Dail yesterday during an extensive debate over the the revised defective blocks bill.

Deputy McHugh raised concerns over some issues to the new scheme too, particularly around the prospect of homeowners being potentially penalised for downsizing:
