Strandhill and Rosses Point have been allocated 202,000 Euro today under the latest allocations of funding under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund.
Minister Heather Humphreys, the Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Islands, confirmed the allocation for the two coastal resorts a short time ago during her visit to Boyle this morning.
Minister of State with responsibility for Public Health, Well Being and National Drugs Strategy , Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan, says the Sligo projects, were included among the seven recipients nationally to be awarded funding.
