Minister for Community and Rural Development, Heather Humphreys, will visit both Sligo and Leitrim today.
The Deputy Leader of Fine Gael will address the National Outdoor Recreation Conference in the Clayton Hotel in Sligo this morning, before moving on to Tullaghan in Co. Leitrim to officially open the Access To The Sea project.
The project provides public access to Leitrim’s only piece of coastal area and received almost €200,000 under the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme.
Minister Humphreys is also expected to make an announcement in relation to recreation in upland areas.
