Minister Joe McHugh is to arrive in Killybegs this morning to assess the flood damage.
It follows heavy rainfall on Wednesday night which led to widespread flooding in the Killybegs and Kilcar area.
The Minister of State and Donegal TD will be arriving for 9am this morning to see the extent of the damage.
His constituency colleague Thomas Pringle was one of those who was affected by the flooding this week on Bridge street.

He says he will be 'putting pressure' on Deputy McHugh to get funding for affected homes.
