The Minister for Health says he will address the capacity issues before any new health systems are put into place.
Minister Simon Harris has been speaking on the new Slainte Care report which aims to reduce waiting lists as well as introduce free GP care for all.
The issue was raised in the Dail recently where Independent Clare TD Michael Harty called for political commitment to ensure this new 10 year plan is implemented.
But also that the resources are in place to do so.
