Minister Simon Coveney will launch the Sligo East City Master Plan this evening in Cranmore at 7 o'clock.
The special launch event will include about a dozen stands in a specially erected marquee with displays from various community groups and local projects.
Speakers will include Minister Coveney as well as the cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council, Hubert Keaney; the council chief executive, Ciaran Hayes, and a representatifve of the local community.
