Sligo-based Rescue 118 helicopter was involved in a multi-agency search operation off the Donegal coast on Saturday morning.
The alarm was raised after a kayaker did not return to base at the expected time.

Rescue 118 and members of the Bunbeg Coast Guard responded to the call off the coast of Gweedore.
The operation was stood down at 11.30am after the kayaker was located safe and well on nearby Inis Sionnaigh island.
