Mixed opinions in Ballyshannon about how Brexit might play out

Businesses in Ballyshannon are approaching Brexit with a wait and see attitude.

With the British Prime Minister not expected to implement Article 50 until March at the earliest and the whole process expected to take a number of years, some businesses don't see the point in worrying just yet.

However, there are fears that a return to a hard border between the Republic and Northern Ireland could have a serious impact on business.

The prospect of tariffs on goods crossing the border is also a realistic one if Britain leaves the EU's customs union.
