More diversity needed within judicial system - Kenny

A Sligo Leitrim TD believes a lot of work needs to be done to create more diversity within the judicial system.

Deputy Martin Kenny made the comments during a debate on the Judicial Appointment Commission 2020 in the Dail.

Deputy Kenny who is also Sinn Feins Justice Spokesperson says there's a lot of people from various backgrounds across the country and says there should more of an emphasis on giving them opportunities in the legal system.

He believes that the legislation could go a little further:
