It’s expected that homeowners impacted by Mica will protest outside the gates of Leinster House today.
The Minister for Housing Darragh O'Brien is to make a presentation to the cabinet about the Mica redress scheme, following a meeting in Dublin last night.
The Minister met with representatives of the people affected by the defective building blocks in the North West - and is to present them a draft of the settlement proposals later today.
One option being considered would see affected homeowners receive compensation for repairs of up to around €350,000.
Eileen O'Doherty - who represents Donegal Families - says they will only accept 100% redress.
