More supports needed to create better work life balance - Kenny

A Sligo Leitrim TD believes that more supports are needed to create a better work life balance.

The issue was discussed in the Dail yesterday during a debate on the work life balance miscellaneous provisions Bill.

The Bill would pave the way for certain employees to be entitled to leave for medical care purposes and to request flexible working arrangements for caring purposes.

Speaking in the Dail Sinn Fein’s Justice Spokesperson Deputy Martin Kenny says it shouldn’t have to the case to legislate for such things must unfortunately it must be done:
