More than 600 women at Irish Country Living Women and Agriculture Conference in Sligo

More than 600 women are in Sligo today for the 12th Annual Irish Country Living Women and Agriculture Conference, taking place in the Radisson Blu Hotel.

The women are farmers themselves, work in food or agribusiness or live in rural areas.

Among those at the conference is Kathleen Henry, the Sligo county chairperson of the Irish Farmers Association.

She says that as a woman, it's been a privilege to have had such a conference in Sligo.
