More than €3m allocated for schools in the north west

More than €3m allocated for schools in the north west

Primary and post-primary schools throughout Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal will share in an allocation of more than €3m before Christmas for the support of information and communications technology.

Sligo primary schools will receive €426,783 with post primary schools in the county getting almost €327,000.

More than €209,000 will go to primary schools in Leitrim with almost €187,000 for post-primary schools.

Donegal primary schools will receive a total of €1,070,580 while post-primary schools will receive €937,396.

Minister of State and Sligo/Leitrim TD Frank Feighan says the changes brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic has brought home the importance of being able to use the latest information and communications technology.
