Men and Women's Sheds are being allocated half a million euro by the Department of Community Development.
More than €46,000 will go to Sheds in the north west: €30,000 to Donegal, €10,300 to Sligo and €5,200 to Leitrim.
It is the first time Women's Sheds are being funded with 33 groups availing of the grants so far.
