96 per cent of Irish employees have received a booster dose of a Covid vaccine.
However, the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office reveal the accommodation and food services sector has the highest number of people who are unvaccinated.
28 per cent of those employed in the sector have not received a full primary course of a Covid vaccination.
Meanwhile, just 28 per cent of people aged between 20 and 59, had their most recent dose in the past 12 months.
The uptake for the primary course of Covid- vaccinations for 5 to 11-year-olds ranged from 4 per cent in Buncrana, Co Donegal, to 56 per cent in Stillorgan in Dublin.
