A man has been taken to hospital following a motorbike accident in Laghey which took place yesterday afternoon.
The man believed to be his 50s, was involved in a single-vehicle crash on the R232, at Trummon West.

He was taken to Sligo University Hospital
Where he is being treated for his injuries, which are described as serious.

Gardaí have confirmed that they attended the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision at approximately 2.40pm.
The scene of the incident was preserved yesterday afternoon while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conducted a technical examination. The road has since reopened.
Investigations are ongoing.
