Motorists advised of Castlegal road diversion

Motorists are being advised that in order to progress works to the next phase of the N16 Lugatober scheme, the L7415 Castlegal Road has now been diverted onto a new section of the N16.

As a result, access to the L7415 will now be at the temporary lights.

South-bound traffic wishing to get onto the Castlegal road will now have to travel to the Drum roundabout and turn back on the Castlegal road.

There is no left turn onto the Castlegal road for south-bound traffic and no right turn for traffic heading north off the Castlegal road.
