UPDATE 1:35pm: The old Dublin road from Sligo town between Carraroe and Balladrehid, has reopened.
Motorists are being advised to be cautious of accident which has occurred on the N16 road near Glenfarne village, in County Leitrim.
A lorry has overturned and the road is currently blocked.
Meanwhile, traffic is down to one lane on the old Dublin road from Sligo town near Balladrehid, following an accident, near Connolly's Garage.

Gardai are advising motorists to drive carefully in the area.
