Motorists advised of section of N17 closure

Motorists in Sligo are being advised of a section of the N17 will close tonight.

Sligo County Council are advising that due to the removal of a lorry from lands at Claragh Irish, just off the N17 will be closed for a time.

The works are expected to take place from 11pm on Tuesday, March 26th until 7am on Wednesday, March 27th.

The road will be closed from its junction with the R294 at Tubbercurry and R293 at Clarke's Bridge.

Diversions will be on operation via the R294 Tubbercurry, R296 Bunninadden and R293 Ballymote to the N17 at Clarke's Bridge for north-bound traffic and vice versa for south-bound traffic.
