A number of drivers have been arrested in Donegal after they tested positive for drugs following roadside tests.
The arrests come as Gardaí from the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit were conducting roadside checkpoints on both Friday and Saturday.

Two drivers tested positive for cannabis while two others were detected having taken cocaine and benzodiazepines and cannabis.
The latter driver was also found to have no driving licence and their car was seized.

Gardaí have previously warned that they will be out in force during 2024.
Checkpoints are planned for a number of locations across the region, with Gardaí set to clampdown on various offences.
Gardaí are reminding the public never to drive under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.
