The swimming ban at Mullaghmore Beach has been lifted.
Sligo County Council imposed the bathing ban on Wednesday last after they were informed of an infrastructure malfunction that could have affected the water.
A water sample was taken the following day and returned a result of good water quality.
While the advice not to swim at Enniscrone Pier has also been lifted.

Local Independent Councillor, Marie Casserly, says it's good news for locals and tourists alike.
