Gardaí in Sligo town have confirmed to Ocean FM that the N4 at the Summerhill roundabout has opened again.
Diversions were in place in the town this lunch time after a truck caught fire at the roundabout on the inner-relief road this morning.
The scene has since been cleared and Gardaí say traffic levels are slowly returning to normal.
It's understood it was a truck transporting grain and it took time to move it as the authorities wanted to ensure there was no risk it would catch fire again.

The driver of the truck was not injured during the incident.
