Fianna Fail Councillor Micheal Naughton has been elected Chair of the Donegal Municipal District for the year ahead.
Councillor Naughton was co-opted onto the seat of the late Councillor Sean McEniff last summer.
He told our reporter Barry Whyte it's a great honour after less than a year on the Council:
