19 people from across the North West are waiting on trolleys for hospital beds today at the 2 main regional hospitals.

Sligo University Hospital has 10 people without beds today with 6 patients in the emergency department and 4 on others wards.

Letterkenny University Hospital has 9 patients without beds today with 1 patient waiting in the ED and 8 on other wards throughout the hospital.

525 patients are without beds in hospitals today – with the worst effected hospital being Limerick University Hospital with 61 patients.
