Nearly 30 people waiting beds across north west

27 people from across the North West are waiting for hospital beds today at the 2 main regional hospitals according to the INMO trolley watch figures.

Letterkenny University Hospital has 7 patients without beds today with 3 waiting in the emergency department and 4 waiting on other wards throughout the hospital.

Sligo University Hospital have 20 people without beds today with 16 in the emergency department and 4 elsewhere in the hospital.

There are 482 people nationwide waiting for a bed today with the worst effected hospital being Limerick University Hospital, with 44 patients.
